The Happy Hooker

For Christmas, my sis-in-law got me a book called The Happy Hooker
which teaches how to crochet. While I will always knit, I'm having fun learning
something new. The movement of crochet is very addictive. I've been
making "granny squares" to piece together to make an afghan.

Will you teach some crochet at the next Knit Night? I need to re-learn!

My Mom loved to crotchet. She made several beautiful items.

Hi, Amby-
Your crochet looks great!

May I ask a quick question?
Are you the Amby that posted the beautiful comment on the "Clarity" blog?

Christine: Yes! It's super easy!

Being Buckner: Thank you and yes, that's my parents blog, so it probably was me!

Jenny: You should learn!

I enjoyed your comment so much- It was exactly what my aunt and I were saying to each other just the other night.
I also came out of a spiritually abusive church- to be quite frank, it was a cult.
The "Clarity" blog is so wonderful- it is helpful to read other's journey out.
This is my story: http://www.gospelassemblyfree.com/personal/CantYouSeeThatImDying.htm
God bless!

I love that book, and I love crocheting. I learned pretty much everything I know from the Happy Hooker (which sounds awesome taken out of context). I'll probably be crocheting washcloths at TCM craft night. They're so relaxing to make.
