Oooh pictures of the cats...

Sherman is a cuddler. Notice how giant his paws are? Sweetest paws ever. I don't promote favortisim between my cats, but he's my special boy. :::tear:::

Ele loves Sherm. She follows him around and often steals his toys.

I love how she's pawing his mouth.

I know my readers can only handle so many cat pictures, you know like I can only handle so many pictures of people's babies. I saw this on someone elses blog and it's sooo true. Who needs to leave the house when you can socialize from the privacy of your home? :-)

Blizzard.

It's hard to tell but the snow is coming down! We may get to leave early.

100% Chance of Snow

But I'm stuck at work... :-(

I'd be a crazy cat lady for sure.

A momma and her baby at the cat shelter. If only I could have 5 kitties.

The Gross Out Factor

I'm not a big watcher of TV. I usually have a lot to do when I'm at home and if I turn it on I get distracted. So one night after a busy weekend, I announced to Nathan and his friend that I would be vegging out on bad TV for the rest of the night, cause sometimes frying your brain is fun. I was flipping by the CW as a new "reality" show started. It's called Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants. Ok so, imagine pageant brats, add their silicone filled old mothers, put them all in a house together, and make them compete. Brilliant! After about 15 minutes and Nathan going "what did they just say?!" from the next room, he and his friend were both sitting next to me on the couch, completely hooked. The women are so serious about it. I kept thinking there is no way they take it this seriously, but they all cry when they get voted off. There is seemingly little depth to the show unless you want to dig into social commentary (another blog in itself), but wow it's funny.

A Snowy Rant

I keep hoping it will snow... Just for like 2 or maybe 10 days. The weather hasn't really been cold until today and we had a sad excuse for snow last night. How do I gauge good vs. bad snow? Um, I had to go to work today=sad excuse. I just want to be trapped at home. I knew that I would love winter in this house and if it would just snow then perfection could be achieved. I have found that vocalizing my desire for snow sometimes angers others/co-workers. I think this shows that more people should chill out and relax. Who wants to go to work, I mean really? I don't understand why everyone hates snow. There is more to it than missing work. It makes the ugliest street beautiful and surreal. When you walk out into a snow covered yard it feels like entering another world. It also forces you to change your daily routine and that's always refreshing. Can you tell we didn't have much snow growing up in Alabama?

From '06. Sense the joy?

I like spending time at home especially when I have these sweet faces to look at:

Until next time....I'll be watching the weather.

They obviously read my blog...

As many of my friends know, I really enjoy Cadbury Mini eggs, a candy that we are only graced with once a year around Easter. I had suggested a while back that it seemed ludicrous not to offer these delicious candies more than once a year. A few days before Christmas, I was walking through Walgreens and stopped dead in my tracks in front of these babies:

As the world stopped, I mumbled some words of confusion and joy to myself and grabbed them! Once I got home I told Nathan the story over and over throughout the night, "They have Christmas Cadbury Egg things now." The only problem I have is that they aren't called eggs nor mini, so I am confused about what to call them. Cadbury Christmas balls? No?
Will this make them less exciting at Easter?

No one likes to be labeled.

We got a label maker for Christmas, obviously.
